Concert For A Cause Benefitting the Merrill Area United Way's Disaster Relief Fund
Merrill Area United Way (MAUW) is proud to announced Leslie Blasing will be returning to Merrill, WI for the third annual “Concert For A Cause” on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Leslie Blasing is a phenomenal, professional singer/performer from South Padre Island, Texas. Blasing has been entertaining for over 30 years. She is extremely talented with a wide vocal range and performs music from many genres. Blasing engages her audience with jokes, stories, dancing and of course her music. and very funny. Leslie Blasing was named “best entertainer” in Texas multiple times and been the opener for several renowned country stars. MAUW is proud and pleased to be able to bring her back.
Concert for a Cause is a fund-raiser organized by MAUW. All profits from the 2024 concert are designated for the “Disaster Relief Fund” established by MAUW following the tornado of 2011. This fund exists to help families impacted by disasters, like a fire, flood, or tornado.
The event will be held at VFW Post 1638, 601 Johnson Street, Merrill, WI. The fun begins at 5 p.m. with Leslie Blasing performing from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be $25 in advance, and $30 at the door. Included in the ticket price are an appetizer buffet, entertainment, and dancing. There will be a cash bar, raffle prizes, and 50/50 raffles.
